That said, this is one of my favorite RPG games of all times. They had me on the nostalgia hook, but after 4 hours of play I can already say I am so happy with my purchase.
I loved the original NES version, and loved the GBC remaster many years later. This version truly feels like the definitive release of DQ III.
The 2d-HD look is gorgeous but more importantly it feels so immersive compared to the original game. The environments feel so much more lively, the voice acting is a wonderful touch, the music is outstanding. On top of that, adding a new class gives you a chance to mix it up a bit from prior play-throughs, and the new quality of life enhancements make it feel better (and faster) than ever before.
I never knock games for what they were at the time or worry about how well they age, but I can say that this remake has definitely earned my money and I can't wait to play more. What $ that is worth to you individually is of course subjective, but I am quite pleased with my purchase.
Naw. Its regulations and weak gamers who wont tell government hands off my games.
