What's censored? Please provide OG SFC pic to compare.

anywho its real. I guess we shouldn't expect to see the swimsuits return either
If you're talking about those White rings... those are whatever the ♥♥♥♥ the weird circlets/anklets were in the OG design you dunce. There is no Underwear, you're blind.
Hidden profile, I think we got trolled
Many of her outfits were censored. I think the famous "Va-va-voom!" scene is intact, but I wouldn't bet money.
And this game was released in 2015. Things have only become more censored.
That is why you have to play the original versions instead.
Putting the original Famicom sprite aside (can't see much period), here are the sprites for the Female Warrior on the Super Famicom version. As you can see, it's impossible to see her butt period because of the height and long hair.
That being said, looking at official vintage art, you can see that the Female Warrior has a front bottom armor, so while I couldn't find any vintage art of her back side, one could assume that she always had a back bottom armor.
Finally, the new 2D HD sprites seem to keep the model of the vintage art alive.
Here's a direct comparison:

they've added shorts to warrior that cover both the upper thighs and butt in the remaster.
