Please have support for AZERTY keyboard
Really liked the demo, will be backing however as a AZERTY user playing with QWERTY controls was a nightmare for the minigames asking me to press specific letters, so i hope you can have that in the demo soon or at least in the final game

Also the tug minigame i only got to try once but i didn't really like how it worked ? The fact you had to bring up and down your mouse didn't work for me but perhaps it was cause the minigame went too fast, either way that the only thing i wanted to bring to the table.

Also (2) if you have mod support for this game later down the line, i can see people making their own little minigames and stuff and it becoming really popular.. Dare i say.. Warioware DIY 2..

Oooh that's a really good point, I'll flag the devs and ask if they can implement AZERTY layouts.

The tug minigame was so tough, but think of it like you're replicating what the character is doing on screen, so push your mouse up and lift repeatedly, don't pull down.

Devs have been really open to the idea of modding the game, and yeah, it's gonna blow up for sure
maybe also one for qwertz keyboards
i type in colemak hope that doesnt bite me later

I'm a colemak player, I think it needs a full remap menu for WASD, space, LMB & RMB when it releases.

I'm seconding this: either allow AZERTY or even just key change.
the game should support arbitrary keyboard layouts. it shouldn't just check for the "w" letter, it should find the keycode associated with that position on the keyboard, otherwise it's just completely flawed.

I didn't know games could do that.

Using different keyboard layouts doesn't make you quirky or special it just makes you stupid :steammocking:

im sorry? this is a question of accessibility and internationalization. assuming that QWERTY's the default layout in all countries is wrong.

Dude, don't assume everyone on this planet is american.

AZERTY exists because of languages using different letter frequencies.

Same with QWERTZ or BEPO. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QWERTZ

I feel that some US citizens would unironically ask why in Asian countries they don't use a fork an knife "like normal people".

Okay, maybe not but still funny to think about it.

So just because I'm french I should feel ashamed of using AZERTY to "Feel Special" ?

I've got this same issue with playing using a Dvorak keyboard. I just use shift+tab to quick swap to Qwerty, but this becomes an issue during the Captcha microgame. Easiest way I can see to fix this is just allow to remap the default movement keys from WASD
