The good ending where you decide to stop taking the pills and escape from the basement and see the sun.
The bad ending where you decide to take the pills for life and continue the life you have, locked in that basement, to the point of gaining weight as it says in the end.
As a context to understand these two endings, could we say that the child is locked in a basement and a mysterious subject manipulates him by lying to him about the outside and that he must take the pills for a type of virus from outside? As a personal opinion, I think that he makes him take the pills to manipulate him or even to keep him inside, because in the good ending when we stop taking the pills, you could say that we stop trusting the father, and we can escape or he lets us go. On the other hand, always taking the pills makes us trust him extremely, that is, we totally trust what he says and we never get out of there.
On the other hand, this could be reflected as a mental problem of the child with all those dreams and extreme fear of detachment from the father, reflecting fear, addiction, and even a disease like schizophrenia, but I really don't know if this is trying to imply the game. the words at the end.
In bad ending, you've been stuck for a lot of time, but you don't remember anything as the "pills" make you tired and "wipe out" your memory indeed they're sedatives, you will notice you're more slow and that's because you will be pregnant... in facts your "papa" forced you to do s__, his only purpose was to force you to do that while you were spleeping (maybe?) and to not make you remember anything, that's why he used sedatives.
The bad thing is true, he comes to the same conclusion that the pills were a sedative, what I didn't think about is that she ends up pregnant because it didn't fit me since she appears to be a girl and they don't give any clues about her gender either, but with what she says In the end you confirmed it, I didn't say it was a baby I had because I don't understand English well, I even speak Spanish, but now that you mention it I understand it. And better conclude that this must be the bad ending.
This game is meant to spread awareness, the little girl is being held in the basement by 'papa', she is told to take pills because of a possible infection (these pills are birth control or a sedative.) 'Papa' is sa'ing the little girl. The dreams are meant to give a feeling of being trapped and confused, similar to memories and nightmares of memories like what is experienced by people who have gone through this.
If you choose not to take the pill after 'papa' disapears for two days, you have a dream about undoing chains and it keeps asking "are you sure" "trust your papa" ext, showing the guilt and confusion that comes along with these situations. If you do not take the pill, you will not be sleepy at night, and you will hear the dialogue of papa starting to sa the little girl, before he is interrupted by people knocking at the door. He will run upstairs and leave the door open and she will go outside, to which we learn she has never been outside before. This is the good ending.
The bad ending; taking the pill and finding out you are pregnant (by papa).
Unless I am misunderstanding, this is supposed to spread awareness about sexual abuse/assault (especially on minors). The description of the game can explain more, and it clearly states that we're living the life of "A YOUNG GIRL". As a survivor of such abuse, this was triggering, but it is good to spread awareness of such horrific things.
Papa calls her "princess" tho
That's not true at all, girls can start their period even at 9 years old (which is becoming very common now), they weren't a toddler but very well could have been a young kid.
