How is this game?

Hello, I am thinking about getting this game. I am a fan of horror games, and I am looking for some to add to my collection. I heard of this game, in a top 10 list and it looks really good. The trailer made it look awesome. When I tried the demo, it was too short and failed to impress. Is the full game different from the demo? I like horror games that make the player feel uncomfortable (disturbing noises, dark enviornment), jumpscares I don't really care for. So I wanted to know from people who have played it, on how it is.

This is a very good game. Parts of it will definitely make you feel uncomfortable. It's more psychological than typical horror. Very dark and allows your mind to make its own assumptions as to what happens.

I'm with Muir on the style of horror this game presents. I've been playing for about an hour straight so far, and while nothing has happened to necessarily scare me, a lot of the ambient nois, environment, and overall tone of each location have made me feel uneasy a few times already. I originally walked straight to grandma's house, and while nothing actually happened... good lord, the color changes, the music, the first person perspective inside the house... it was just all too creepy.

Beware, though, there are quite a few collectibles, and the game is very slow paced. So if you want something sorta quick, this won't be it. But if you can handle the slower pace, and just enjoy the game before something eventually kills you, then you should enjoy it. Just be prepared for a long time of nothing happening, with lots of interpretation. =)
