Rides constantly raised
I started up a sand box world and happily built my first ride with no trouble. However the next ride I built was raised of the ground by a tiny amount, just enough for my queue path to not reach. After messing around with path hights I finally managed to make a connection; however all new rides I try to place are know at this awkward raised postion. How do I fix this?

Link leads to the website I used to connect the paths the first time. I posted it here so you can see the slightly raised platform that I get with every new ride.

I'm afraid I have tried that with no luck. Any other suggestions?

I tried again and still couldn't do it. Also I'm trying to fix the fact that I have to do this to every ride. I was to have my rides flat on the ground not one segment high

hold shift while building and move mouse down

Tried that, as soon as I move the mouse down the ride turns red and i'm unable to place it there. When I have the ride in the blue it looks flat on the floor but when I click to place the ride, it jumps up a level

i looked at your picture. first off did you make the ride or just choose it from the premade rides? if you chose a premade ride it may or maynot be level with the ground. some premade rides are already built UP so they can clear the ground. In that case you would need to find just the right spot or you would have to first lower the ground where you wanted to place said ride

Look dude. It's not working for me. I'm doing exactly as you say and it doesn't work. When I click on the enterance all it does is change the colour of it, not create another path piece. I'm aware it is suppose to do this, but it isn't. I also don't want to have to create a slanted path piece every time just so I can get into the ride. I'm trying to figure out and solve why my rides are spawning in at this hight, even though in the blue highlighted mode says they are flat on the ground.

Yeah I made 2 rides, the first one I had no trouble with, flat on the ground perfect; the second one for whatever reason decided to spawn in above the ground (Even when the blue highlight mode showed it was flat on the ground), which at the time I didn't notice and finished my ride without knowing. I also am buliding my themepark on a flat sanbox level so there shouldn't be an difference in the land high. Not sure if this information will help but with some ride (like the helter skelter thing in the junior rides section) if I press ALT, The ride seems to drop down abit so it is level on the ground even though it looks level already. The problem is this doesn't work with all rides so it isn't a long term solution.

At the bottom left before you place the ride/attraction do you see the "auto-level" button? Try messing with those.

While that works for attractions, it didn't seem to work for the roller coaster that I tried to build. Do you think maybe I should start a new sandbox mode and see if I have the same problem, or maybe raising the terrain?

Easy solution! Go into the terrain editor, then go to the top option, then go to the top far left option which raises individual tiles. Then you can raise up only half of the tile to build a walkable path to connect to the entrance.

And if it happens with every ride, when you're placing the ride hold shift and move the mouse down to see if it fixes it. It seems like sometimes if you do that for one ride it will default to it for awhile...

Did err, did you find a fix for this? This ♥♥♥♥ is happening to me now.
Method4DMad Apr 6, 2017 @ 1:48pm
...Did you try my suggestions?

I just saw someone basically copied/pasted my answer into that screen shot page's comments :O

I don't know if I'm honored or offended?

That page also answers the question several times...
