Reflecting Water Not Working On Mac Version. PLEASE HELP!
For some odd reason the reflecting water feature does not work on my Mac. Can anybody tell me why this is?

I really researched hard on this issue but I couldn't figure out a simple solution for this problem. My guess is that it's a compatibility problem because on my old MacBook with Geforce 330m the reflecting water is actually availiable. Yet there it is not working properly, cause the 330m is of course not supported. On my MacBrook Pro with the supported Intel graphics it is turned off. I could figure out a way to tweak the same settings issues with the Civ 5 leader models, but with RCT 3 and its water I so far still had no luck.
I refuse having graphics cards in my laptops but I'd still prefer the newer Mac port though, even without the water, just because the Windows version is obviously outdated -
It's really a shame that there is hardly any information on the Internets regarding this matter :-)

Caseilla, do you have multiple lakes or ponds? Because the reflections are working on the lowest water surface only! So if you created a hill with a lake on it and you also have a lake on ground level, then the lake on the hill won't show any reflections at all. That's how it's programmed.

If this isn't the case, I'm out of ideas. Sorry, mate! :-(

The problem is, at least for me, that the Reflecting Water option is just not availiable in the settings menu. Even if you choose an unmodified scenario by the sea for example, no water whatsoever gets reflected. I mentioned Civ 5 with a similiar issue earlier, because both Mac versions, RCT3 and Civ 5, are from Aspyr. Therefore I know that Aspyr does have such a policy: I could tweak an INI file for Civ 5 though. It works, but I now get warning messages about graphics memory overload. Yet I still could not find a similiar INI file for RCT 3. Maybe for the better, because their Mac ports just don't support such Shader enhancements on systems with integrated graphics only...
