Custom content on Mac?
Hey, I've just purchased this game for mac. Does anyone know how to add custom content such as tracks and pools etc. to the game? I've looked in the steam folder for the game but it appears to include an application icon. Any help would much be appreciated.

There is a folder called themed, and similar ones in Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 Gold, all within Steam, Steamapps, Common that you place these items in

Once you have reached the RCT 3 Gold folder, that is where waterparks and coasters go, etc. There is also a folder called Style, and in that is Themed. This is the place for custom scenery as I recall.

Hey man, I use mac too. To import tracks, parks and themes, go to your documents folder and look in Aspyr and then Roller Coaster Tycoon 3

Hostile, do you have theSteam version, or an Aspyr download?

Atari makes the version for PC, while Aspyr Media makes the version for Mac. You should keep this in mind when searching for these custom content folders (without quotes).

For Custom Scenery, "%GameRoot%\Style\Themed".

For Custom Tracked Rides, TrackedRides folders go into "%GameRoot%\TrackedRides", and TrackedRideCars folders go into "%GameRoot%\TrackedRideCars".

For Custom Flat Rides, "%GameRoot%\Style\Custom". (Please note that you may need to create the "Custom" folder, if it doesn't already exist.)

I do hope these tips come in handy!

Okay! The real answer (srry about being rlly late) is right click RCT3 in your library, go down and click Properties. Then press Local Files and then click Browse Local Files. From then the icon of RCT3 should open up in Finder. When that happens, right click the icon, click Show Package Contents, then click Contents, then GameData, and you can find Style from there!
