Cannot add RCT3 to steam library
I bought it on WildTangent a long time ago, way before I even knew steam existed, and whenever I try to get it in my steam library, I'm met with this error. http://i.imgur.com/duJuRFj.png

I can't move the "root" folder. I can only make shortcuts, which leads to some ancient program called WildTangent Orb.

The game doesn't show up in the "Add a Game" window.

If I open the file location to the root folder, it just goes to the abandoned "Games" folder. http://i.imgur.com/m2UsKAt.png

While I have no idea where it would be stored when downloaded from Wildtangent. Have you tried searching for the program itself, instead of using shortcuts? You are looking for RCT3plus.exe, or at least thats what it's called when downloaded through steam.

Browse around your program files, hopefully you can find it.

It strangely only connects in the Games folder, with no way to look through the files.

Nevermind, I decided to open up WildTangent to see if I could find anything. I went to settings, and the install directory is there. I searched for it, and it was actually there. Not sure why it didn't show up through searches though; I even tried RCT3plus like you said earlier.

Looks like I'm met with 1 more problem; I created the shortcut in library, and tried for both RCT3plus and RCT3plus-WT. I click play. Nothing happens. After a few seconds, I go from ingame to not ingame. If I go and open the actual files (Either of them), they go to WildTangent Orb. http://i.imgur.com/SjUaZJE.png

Hmm, I really have no idea how to fix it. Wildtangent Orb is a type of DRM. So i doubt it will launch without it.

Eventually RCT3 will go on sale for 5$ or so. Either in summer sale, or before launch of RCT world. You could buy it again on steam. There is also a sale on GOG for a DRM free copy. http://www.gog.com/promo/summer_rollercoaster_tycoon_bundle_070615
