Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Game Crashing My Computer
So I installed this game after purchasing it a year or so back. I stopped playing it for a while, just got bored of it or something, but recently tried playing it again. Can't play it for more than a couple of minutes before the game crashes, the screen goes blue, and my computer automatically restarts to prevent any damage to itself... what in the actual ****???
My computer can handle every game I've EVER thrown at it, run all games I've ever put on it at the highest possible graphics like it's nothing.
But for whatever reason, RTC3 Platinum seems motivated to murder my computer. I cannot for the life of me figure what's wrong. All of my drivers are up to date, and I do regular maintenance. I even tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it.
My computer is:
Asus Z87-PLUS DDR3 1600 LGA 1150 Motherboard
Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core
2 TB Seagate HDD
250 GB Samsung SSD
Asus Radeon R9 290X 4GB Video Card
Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
And a 750 watt power supply

I have read where if you have a virus it can cause a crash. Please read this :

1. that BSOD you're experiencing may have nothing to do with the game. Make sure your hardware is running fine with no glitches
2. check your drivers - I know you say your drivers are up-to-date, but if you just right clicked them in Device Manager, it's not pulling the "most updated" drivers - it's going with the Generic drivers in Windows Update Database. Source: I do this for a living

3. "I do regular Maintenance", what do you mean by this?
4. This game is not designed for new hardware - it doens't matter what kind of GPU (I have an MSI version of yours) or amount of RAM you have (I have 16GB), this game is just a poorly written game. It's not your fault, but I don't think Atari is making a fix anytime soon sadly.
