Is this game well optimized?
I want to buy this game, but I've made mistakes in the past with purchasing games that don't run well.

it runs well. the complexity of the building takes a toll once your park becomes big on your framerate and what not no matter how good your pc specs. but you should not pass this game up at all if you wanna lose yourself in some mindless creativity.

Mines as gittery as hell. Very crappy to play, and my computer is a lot more powerful than the 90's computers this was designed for. Avoid.

This game has lagged for me the last few months, It was due to the AMD drivers. I've kept hoping newer drivers would get rid of the issue but so far no luck. I really don't want to roll back to the 13.4 drivers, which i believe are the last ones that ran good with this game.

I have zero problems. Getting 60fps even with big, complex parks.

Then again, the game itself came out in the early 2000's, and looks slighlty blocky at this point (still looks nice though).

I remember back when the game first came out - anything other than one or two coasters would cause the game to go into slide-show mode...

I'm getting perfect performance with 1080p enabled with zero issues using an i5760 and a GTX680.

It plays very well even in the largest of parks - any half decent specced system can run this game just fine.

It runs well until you hit a certain point, and that point is always in the same place. When it was made, most computers weren't dual-core or quad-core or however many cores you've got jammed into your machine. Since it runs on only one core, after making a pretty big park, it will start to slow down a lot.

Runs good. Exept if you put down alod of lights, then you fps will drop when it gets night
