Am i the only one who does not like RCT3?

I personally prefer RCT 1 and 2, a ton of my friends say that RCT 3 is 10x better, i disagree with that. What are your guys thoughts?

There is nothing in RCT 1&2 that 3 does not do better. I think most people who say this are simply looking through nostalgia glasses.

I would agree and disagree, I liked RTC 1 the most didn't really care for RTC 2 and RTC 3 is meh at best with expansions installed. I feel like what killed RTC 3 for me is the god awful menu system they used for selecting what rides you want to pick/buy. I also would say that RTC 3 is best when its Vanilla RTC 3. I didnt care for the pools system, I thought they were very ugly how they was always a little above the ground, and the animal ♥♥♥♥ was just stupid as hell, keep that ♥♥♥♥ in Zoo tycoon not in the RTC series.

I love RCT3, its really fun but i haven't played the first two games, but i have seen youtubers play all of the games, and RCT3 is the best in my opinion

I think that judging RCT1&2 VS. 3 is slightly unfair. You can't compare a 2d platformer to a 3d platformer, so honestly I think you ought to just judge RCT3 on its own merits.

..that said, I like all the games but have played RCT3 the most.

For me it's a toss up between 2 & 3. I think it's mostly because I've played 2 way longer than I have played 3, and I'm used to how everything in 2 works. I have trouble with manipulating the land and building coasters on 3. If I played it more often and got used to that, it would get rid of my biggest issues with 3.

The only other two things I don't like with 3 is having to worry about the worker's feelings, and some of the rides from 2 don't convert to 3 very well.

Go read over the RCTW forums, all you hear is people crying about the Beta like they dont even freaking understand it was a beta. Most people that are crying about it didnt even play it more then just a hour or 2 and they are crying asking for refund and telling people that its crap and they should delay it longer....... I played for over 10 hours and yes it was very buggy but it worked and was a lot of fun.

I dont even have a clue what the state of the game is in right now tbh ,i only found out people were doin reviews already earlier.So , you played it for 10 hours , lets say all the bugs are fixed at release or shortly after , how does the game compare to the older games , would u say its better ?

If all the bugs where fixed I would say it has a good chance at being just as good as the first 3 RCT games.

Some might not like the new coaster building system but after a little bit of time with it I found it to allow more freedom over what you can do with the coasters but it also seemed limited as far as building smaller coasters.

Personally I wish they would give the players the option to pick between the new system and the old system.

It looks so much better then RCT 3, but from what I understand when it launches in Dec. it wont have water rides, nor the ablity to build underground which I hope they add in via free content patch and not a DLC addon.

To me it seems like alot of people had to high of hopes on the beta, and the reviews suffered from people not giving the game a fair chance before crying about all the issues the "Beta" had.

I dont plan on asking for a refund, as I have faith that the team working on it well make it a great addition to the RCT Series. I really can't say its going to be better till I atleast try out the second beta.

If they dont add in water rides or underground building in free updates , then they will be making a huge mistake.The game will get downvoted to ♥♥♥♥ if they try to sell those parts as a dlc.

You are very right the game should atleast be up to par with what features the first RCT games had. If they are not included in the release its fine but thoses features should not be thrown into some silly DLC pack even I would write a bad review if that happens. I hate DLC.
