Strange Terrain Glitch...
Whenever I flatten terrain, and then try to place a ride on it, the track piece gets elevated to around 4 feet instead of the usual one foot. I don't know why this is happening, but it's beginning to drive me crazy. What's going on?

You need to use the 'Flatten terrain in increments for rides and scenery' tool, instead of the other one. Even though the game is 3d, the rides and pathways are still confined to a grid.
