This VIP is being nasty - RCT3

The gold medal objective for the hollywood level is evil. Firstly they expect a 7.00 excitement ride by the time she arrives which I acheived by selling tons of scenery and a ride then spending hours designing and redesigning a coaster.

But now she won't even RIDE the damn thing. I have like, 4 other rides and she'll go on every single one EXCEPT THE 7.00 roller coaster! How do I make this bimbo ride the thing so I can leave this horrible level?

On the objectives screen there is a button you can use to set the vip path through the park. Also, you do not have to have the ride up on the first visit. They will come back until the objective is satisfied.

Thank you so much! I realised she would come back but now I've spent all evening building a huge park and yet another giant rollercoaster but she's still avoiding them even after 10 visits. Now I can finally put this park to rest.

I'm bring this thread to the top of the pile for a short while in case anyone else is struggling with getting the Tycoon gold hat on career map 4 - Movie Park.

I have found a way of resolving this issue within the normal game so that you complete the scenario, with all 3 hats, before the end of year 4. If anyone is currently struggling, with getting the VIP to ride on the rollercoaster they've built, say so here.

If anyone's still having problems getting VIPs to use the right rides, you can set the VIP's waypoints/route. From the scenario objectives menu (click the hat icon on the top bar), you'll see red/blue footprints next to the VIP objectives (hover title says "setup route"), click that and remove everything, then add the rides they need to use for the objective.
