Need help tutorial cant even connect entrance

I did the first tutorial to relearn the game after not touching it for years and I noticed something was off. When the tutorial made me place the Black widow coaster and told me about paths etc. I couldn't even get the path to reach. Since the tracks are all around it I can only place two paths. In front of the entrance and the exit. I cant move anywhere else. Is this just a poorly designed roller coaster or is there something im missing? I cant place different places for stairs or anything and it wont go further out past the entrance.

Was this SUPPOSED to happen?

I'm not exactly sure about this scenario or tutorial cuz I haven't played the game forever, but have you tried clicking and holding the mouse button and raising the ride into the air to get it out of your way?

It's the tutorial. They limit you to what they're trying to teach

I just did the 2nd tutorial. I picked the coaster and TURNED it around so i could see the entrance and exit areas. after placing it down then............i put in the paths. You need to read the tutorial carefully. Remember to turn your rides around with the Z key.

FYI i think the tutorial told me to place a different named coaster.

It was a different coaster: Little Beast. Placing the black widow won't allow you to put paths down. But even so you could put paths by starting at the entrance or exit and continuing back out of the tracks and toward a designated path of your choosing.

I know but they can only go for entrance then to the exit. I moved my mouse around and it didnt allow me to build anywhere else cause the tracks of the ride goes around the entrance and because it's a coaster I cant build there. I clicked around and it wont let me build cause there is a track on the left side,right side and the front. I have no idea how i'm supposed to connect it....

Using this coaster in a later scenario you will be allowed to raise and lower the ground , or raise and lower the ride and bring the paths up from underneath but you won't be able to do it in the tutorial.

I'm at work and not able to spend too much time. I searched for this on the internet.hopefully this is the correct ride and you can see where the entrance and exit is.

When I get home tonight I'll start a park and place the Black widow wooden roller coaster and see what happenes . I'll take a pic and upload it to Steam.

Well in the tutorial those buttans arent available. I thought about it and clicked it but it wouldn't work. Confused I made this thread

Polls? I had no problem with polls in the way but i was in sandbox mode. Also in the tutorial they want you to use a different coaster.....i think it was The Little Beast. Could be a tutorial thing where they want you to go step-by-step whit their instructions. Making these types of paths would be considered advance path making.
