What custom mods were you referring to?
Hopefully, one day this game will come back. I was lucky. I bought it much earlier, but only started playing last year Dec.
Some custom scenery mods which were in two websites namely "rct-3.org" and "www.putmeonthenet.net" are no longer available anymore.
I tried searching them in CSDepot but they are not in there. So, I assume they are gone for good.
Planet Coaster is a fine game, though it could use more assets. But it is nice to switch between coaster building games and enjoy what each platform brings.
Further adding to this, RCT3 is not even available for purchase neither on Atari's nor Frontier's websites, 99% sure it's because of this dispute. If anyone is looking for a copy, I have seen it as an actual CD-ROM available on Amazon and Ebay, but those are put out by users and not the publishers.
EDIT: this game is still available on Walmart.com, but not as a download (a physical copy of the game, just as it was back in late 1990's). Link: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Rollercoaster-Tycoon-3-Platinum-includes-Soaked-and-Wild-Expansion-PC-Games/219229646
Welcome back
