RCT 3 Platinum: Expansion Packs won't install?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but I'm out of options. Basically, I have a CD copy of RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Platinum, and for some reason ONLY the ORIGINAL game has been installed, and the expansion packs don't seem to be installing.

I've uninstalled a couple of times but nothing seems to work!

I remember i had to download an update when i added the expansion packs. Perhaps it's no longer connecting to the server therefor it cannot update?

It looks like you do not own the game here on Steam. You said you have a CD copy so you must have a box CD copy of Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Platinum. Maybe that CD copy does not have the expansion packs on it. If you did purchase it here on Steam you would definitely get the expansion packs. Maybe if you explore your CD disc there's separate executable files to install the expansion packs.

It looks like you do not own the game here on Steam. You said you have a CD copy so you must have a box CD copy of Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Platinum. Yes, since its not for sale on steam anymore, I was lucky enough to get an original second hand copy. I'm not very good at computer things, but while I did try to explore the CD abit, it didn't contain any files with the name 'SOAKED' or 'WILD'. It does have some sort of key code on the disk itself, but I have no idea what to do with it. :/

I suspect that might be the case as well, I've tried many times to update it but despite my well functioning internet, it says 'internet failed to connect.' I'm still lost!
