Custom coaster downloads don't show up in game

I really hope someone can sort this out for all RCT 3 lovers once and for all. This question is on multiple forums, but the answer remains incomplete. PLEASE HELP ME.

I downloaded B&M Ultimate pack part 1 on Custom Scenery Depot: it should be a pack filled with 12 different B&M coasters. I also downloaded a single B&M coaster called: Parralax B&M sit down. I copied the files in the right folders as stated in the included read me files. "The way it should go" on a Windows 10 computer with RCT 3 from steam.
Program files 86x - Steam - Steamapps - Common - RCT 3 gold - Tracks - Trackrides and Cars - Coastercars. I also tried to put all files in other folders like coasters. And also in the coaster file that is in documents - RCT 3 - coasters.

The only thing that shows up in game under rollercoasters is the CTR icon with the name B&M Ultimate pack and sometimes it also shows B&M Wingrider BETA. Both are the same coasters wich means I can only see one coaster in the game. There are no other coasters elsewhere in the game.

The other file I downloaded (B&M Sit down) doesn't even show up.

So, what I am doing wrong here? Is there one true way to download and install custom coasters in RCT 3 Platinum from steam on a windows 10 computer?

for ctrs:

tracks->trackedrides
cars->trackedridecars

make sure the sub folder you put in only has the ovl files and not another folder within that. Sometimes the custom cars use the same style track so it wont show up as a separate ride. It most likely is the other car option on the ride info in game.

for cs: style->themed(unless specified to put it in a 'custom' folder within themed)

That ultimate pack seems like it has issues as another person posted there so I wold not mess with that one. Try another ctr from another author.

As far as windows 10 I use another OS so I cannot say perhaps it may be the problem if you've done everything correctly. All i can say is turn on the option to show hidden files and folders and have admin rights to the steam file structure.

Thanks for your reply. I found out that the coaster I downloaded has 12 different cars instead of track. So it was my stupitidy, I'll admit that lol. But still, I think your explenation is very good so I leave this question here.
