Is the resolution still locked to like the other Shin Chan game ?

Yeah, can't find a way to force anything above 1080p sadly, and I'm not sure where the config file is. It's a Unity game, so very possible it can be manually pushed above 1080p.

EDIT: No config file, settings are stored in the registry. However, even changing the resolution values in the registry does not work. The game simply overwrites the values back to 1080p when you launch it.

Ok, if you run the game at 1080p windowed mode, and then use Borderless Gaming to force borderless windowed, it appears to properly force the game up internally to your native desktop resolution. I haven't pixel counted it, but at 1440p it is clearly sharper and less aliased than before with the in-game borderless option, and Steam screenshots are now at 1440p, rather than 1080. This method even corrects UI elements for ultrawide resolutions (though the backgrounds are still not authored for wider than 16:9, so you'll get some obvious visual errors in wider aspect ratios).

Until an official patch is released, if ever, Borderless Gaming seems to do the trick.
