FMS data "out of date"?
How is it possible that PC flight would refuse to display any navdata on a 737 FMS, saying the data is "out of date"? Seriously? The devs worry about fricking gate catering trucks but they can't figure out how to update the database from FREE gov sources? That is incredibly pathetic!

Well, most of the World does not enjoy free access to navigation data. If you want up to date nav data (e.g. if you fly on VATSIM), you'll need to take out a subscription with Navigraph (worldwide) or similar. If you are only interested in the USA, there are ways to get that free data into X Plane (search on Xplane.org).
If you are not flying on-line, you can simply clear the 'Nav data out of date' message and you will still have data that is usable.
