Report a translation problem
First thing: make sure that you have Vulcan enabled in your XP settings.
Then your options are to turn up some of the GPU-related graphic settings (e.g. texture quality, anti-aliasing) to max out your GPU at the same framerate, or dial down one or more of the CPU-related settings such as No. of world objects if you feel the need to up the fps. Personally, I'd be more than happy with 40 fps, especially if flying one of the more complex aircraft.
Final option would be to upgrade your cpu, but then you'd be into a new motherboard and a whole load of extra expense.
