Controller no longer detected! <SOLVED>

As the title implies, i use an xbox controller to fly in xp11, dont judge. But ever since a certain steam update, ALL my controller games are messed up, and its a drag to re-configer everything. In xp11, my controller is no longer detected.

EDIT: If youre having the same problem as me, goto this website and do "FIX 3"
This works for any other game which might not be detecting your controller correctly!

The same thing is happening to me. I hadn't play for a while and like you my XBox controller no longer works. It works with other games though. I guess I'll skip XP 12 for now.

If your axis' and buttons can be "seen" by Windows you can assign functions to them in X-Plane. There may not be a preset for your controller in X-Plane but manually setting one up in X-plane should take only a minute or so.

Same issue, reinstalled the game after a long break, and i cannot use my xbox360 controller anymore.
So disapointed i really dont understand why they did something like that.

Are you certain the controller's axis' and buttons aren't being recognized in X-Plane? If Windows "sees" them, you can configure the controls manually in Settings menu.

Sadly yes, cant assign controls anymore, even axis. The controller isnt recognized and doesnt show in the game
I use a wired 360 controller. Before that i remember my controller was fully recognized and i could assign keybinds to any button i wanted.

Its working perfectly fine in all my other games so its not a hardware issue.
Cant play it anymore with pleasure and cant refund it since i have 80 hours in it.
