Activation code lost XPLANE 11 STEAM SOLVED

Right click XPLANE 11 in LIBRARY. Click PROPERTIES. Click LOCAL FILES. Click VERIFY FILES. The files will validate (I had 8 not validated but it said would bring them back). Close STEAM. Open STEAM and press XPLANE 11 Press PLAY. Then you will go straight to the game without it asking you for a validation code that you cannot find.

I hope this helps. It has taken me two days to solve this one.
