No NAV radios in default 747 400
Am I missing something but there are no nav radios in the default 747 400. There are 3 sets of radios and they all display com frequencies. When I try and set them for nav frequencies they show INOP. I checked the failures for the 747 and there were none. How can one pick up a localizer with no nav radios?

yeah, its not very well made but you can press navrad on the fmc and scroll wheel the numbers there to change freq and crs.

Just like on the real plane, the NAV radios are remotely tuned through the FMC. The radio tuning panels are for communication radios (VHF, HF and AM) only.
