Right now you might find some third party stuff, maybe making use of XPUIPC plugin in a smiliar way like Pilot2ATC does, and connecting to the "server" where XP runs via local network. Though a native solution by LR would be the best.
Alternatively, by running another copy of X-Plane on another computer, you can connect thru LAN, and in the Graphics tab of the settings you can switch the setting in "Monitor usage" to "Instructor Operating Station" to do the same thing remotely (I'm don't got a second machine to test this ATM, dunno if there are any extra steps; also, I dunno if you can do it with the demo version, or if you need to purchase a second full copy).
