XP11 Crashes when loading aircraft [SOLVED]

Trying to start flight but crashes when loading aircraft... tried moving preference folder but still not working... worked yesterday

Mine keeps doing the same. Worked fine yesterday but cannot get it to start at all. Loads up at airport then crashes

Looks like the id1ots at Laminar Research are at it again. I'm having the same issue, too. It's like none of those nut cases even double check their updates before putting it live. What a bunch of morons

Well I'm sorry you guys are having problems but I've just tested my X-plane and everything worked fine. I opened from Steam in the usual way, the UI loaded as normal, I selected the default Cessna and chose an airport and everything loaded fine. I did a few button clicks for various views around the aircraft and then exited X-plane without any issues!

any idea what it may be? earlier i could get into the main menu but now i cant even that the screen is just black when starting xp11...

FOUND A FIX!

This fixed the issue for me not sure if it works for NVIDIA or anything else but i have AMD R9-390 GPU and i just reinstalled my drivers

Make sure you select "Custom Installation" when you install the drivers and then select "Clean Install".

That will delete old driver libraries that may be on your system, before performing the update.

You will have to reboot your computer during the installation and again after it is done

Not sure if its a permanent fix have only booted the sim once and done a flight after fixing it... time will tell

So basically then your graphics Driver wasn't up to date? Glad you got it sorted.

Noob here but already i been modding like crazy i was having big problem with flywithlua plugin i'd just installed vulcan drivers and fps was terrible even on low settings, lua was giving me errors saying it had put files in script quarantine.. and then constant ctd', .googling for help i came upon this thread even though my copy of the game isn't steam it's CD, tried reinstalling the driver this time as a clean install and like magic the lua warnings have gone the fps are acceptable now, and the strangest thing if i allow the AI to fly the aircraft from the ground whilst before it immidiately reloaded and ignored my request and started from the air, now it takes off from the ground including passenger boarding animations complete start up and pushback cart....all because i did a fresh reinstall of the driver? no kidding lolz.....many thx man..
