Yeah, just bought 3 Skymaxx products and it's best weather system in any pc game [just check it, it comes with most realisticreal life weather transfer system, clouds formation, sun, cloud shadows and lightning you can get ] !

I get rain on my windscreen of my Cessna 402.

The rain effect all depends on the aircraft you are using and if the developer put in their own rain effect or if the aircraft supports the Librain plugin. Keep in mind that you can't just put a Librain plugin into any aircraft and have rain on the windscreen. The aircraft has to support the Librain plugin. Also the Librain plugin does not work in Vulkan, only in OpenGL.

I have SkyMaxx Pro and it's OK. It is better than a lot of the other weather addons. I personally use xEnviro 1.16. It works in both OpenGL and Vulkan and it provides rain effects on all aircraft.

wth is opengl

Its a type of rendering . Like direct X. If you activate vulkan in the settings then you wont have openGL rendering. I have xenviro and it can put rain on any windshield, of course you dont want to pay for it so.... The zibomod is the only aircraft that i can think of that would have windshield effects.
