Vulkan Crash
Good morning, I've recently bought x-plane 11. I have been able to put Vulkan on, put after a day or two, when I enable it and restart the simulator, X-Plane 11 crashes. Here is my Log file: (not the whole file, steam doesn't allow me to send such a big text)
If another part is needed, please let me know.

DX12 is recommended and Vulkan runs ok on GTX970. My m.2 drive is 90% full and I always clean up anything I can for now. I read the tutorial for graphics setup and have been able to advance to max but I keep it on high. I'm confident your system is fully capable. My two plugins are there by default. I've not added anything to my original or update files.

Read "Open Full Manual" under Help in the Settings window for more info. When I saw "The video card is DX11+VR Ready" try DX11 after reading the manual. I also see maximum texture at hardware limit also covered.

i can run x-plane 11, i just have to disable vulkan (it automatically gets disabled when i start x-plane 11 for the second time, after it has crashed once). the thing is, that one day I was able to run vulkan and the next day i wasn't able to do that any more. i think it would be helpful to mention that i installed an older driver (425.something) and when i reversed it back to the most recent version, bam, vulkan crash. I also would like to say that while googling for the solution, i found something about uninstalling vulkan in the VulkanRT folder in Programs(x86). How can i install it again? it won't install installing the nvidia drivers. Your help is very much appreciated. (sorry for double publiching in 2 threads. im just desperate but if you dont like me to post the same message in 2 threads then i wont do it again. thank you)

Shut down anything you don't need in your windows task bar and try again. I just updated 121 drivers in the last 60 days so check your status. Verify your files before adding anything. My application works fine since it's been updated but I've made no changes ever.

alright, ill try to shut all aplications... but i have 16GB RAM so I dont know why that would help? (also 6GB VRAM) and what do you mean by "check your status"?

@danielabadgamero, try doing this, worked for me as well:

Go to your X-Plane folder then: X-Plane 11\Output\shadercache

Delete the folder "vulkan" inside "shadercache" folder and restart the X-Plane 11 checking the box to use Vulkan drive.
