Assigning one throttle on two engines?
I'm using a logitech X52 Hotas and when I set my throttle to "Throttle" it only will power one engine (either only the left or right engine but not both). I'm mostly using modded twin-engine military jet fighters found on the x-plane 11 forums. Is there a way to fix this?

Sounds like you're assigning it to a specific throttle and not the simple one. I'm using an X52 pro and mine seems to be working fine. Could I get a screenshot of your axis assignment for it?

Huh... curious. I'm not actually sure. I was hoping it was something simple. I can have a fiddle with my settings and see if I can replicate it but I can't make any promises.

I believe there is a option called "Throttle horizontal" in the drop down menu which links all throttles together.

UPDATE: I was able to fix it by changing up my settings. I navigated to \X-Plane 11\Resources\joystick configs and changed the name in the Saitek X52 Flight Control system config to "X52 H.O.T.A.S." in line 5 or 6. Now both engines can be controlled by one throttle.

OK. Success at last.

I went to my Device Manager in Windows and saw that in the Human Interface Devices that my X52 was recognised as "X52 Professional H.O.T.A.S."

Next I went to the Xplane/Resouces/joystick configs folder and edited in Notepad the file called Saitek X52 Pro Flight Control System - Win.joy. I then edited the line (about 6 lines down) to read "Name: X52 Professional H.O.T.A.S.". Then ran Xplane and in the joystick settings the pictures now appear.

Happy days!!
