Speed brake stuck at 50%?
Just got into X-Plane from MSFS 2020. I loaded into the default 737 and noticed that the speed brake was set at 50%. But when I tried to set it to its retracted position, it automatically moved back to halfway and it seems to be forever stuck there. Is this by design or is it a bug? How do I solve this? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

It's probably set on one of your joystick axis that gets centered by a spring, so it's at 50%

I'm re-downloading the game right now, but I will see if that was the issue once I have it up and running again. Thanks for the suggestion!

Hi Bryson. Take a look on "Zibo mod". A free 737 for Xplane 11, better than the default 737 :)

Update: Nope. I've re-downloaded the game and I am still having the same exact issue. For reference, I am using the A320Ultimate by FlightFactor and my joystick and throttle is the Thrustmaster TCA Officer Pack. I have tried removing the speed brake input from every single device connected to my computer (including the keyboard) as well as recalibrating my controllers but to no avail. I'm more perplexed than anything at this point as to why this is an issue. I understand that the speedbrake starting at 50% in cold & dark states may be a bug with the A320U, but I should at least be able to move it back to retracted, but unfortunately I am not able to.

I THINK I FIXED THE ISSUE! Under Joystick there is a section called PFC Hardware. I changed the throttle quadrant type from "2 jet" to "None" and suddenly I was able to move the speed brake. The FFA320 still loaded in with the speed brake set at 50%, but that's obviously an issue on there end (and one I can certainly live with after everything I've gone through).

Thanks a lot for trying to help me

bryson. thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I had the same problem today seemingly out of the blue. I did the change as you suggested under throttle quadrant type and all is good.

Good Day! I am having the same issue with Ultimate Flight Factor A320, where the sppedbrake is stuck in the mid (50%) position and will not retract. I have unplugged all the Airbus controls TCA edition and reloaded the A320 aircraft afresh but the problem remains.
Please could you advise on any other ideas to rectify the issue?
Many thanks!

You go to XFactor forum, there's a fix there for TCA issue.

Hi Kapjadi. Thank you for the reply. I am new here could you perhaps elaborate on where to find the Xfactor forum or copy the link to the fix. Much appreciated!
