Using X-Planewith Oculus Quest 2

I've just been trying out my new Quest 2 with the X-Plane 11 SteamVR version and I was blown away by my maiden voyage in VR. I was disappointed by the resolution, though. The writing on the cockpit instruments was so blurry as to be almost unreadable. Do you think something might be wrong? I expected the Quest 2 to have better resolution than previous headsets.

I'm about to try it in VR for the first time with the Q2. My guess is that X-Plane's VR engine isn't up to date to take advantage of the Q2's resolution potential. Just a guess. Hopefully it'll get better in the future.

My first foray into VR myself. If you like trains at all, go check out Derail Valley. Got native VR and it's amazing.

I'm certainly no expert on the matter, but make sure you don't go too crazy with anti-aliasing. It may help to a certain point, but I find it also tends to blur everything.

With that said, resolution is, unfortunately, just a universal issue with VR. Many of us can easily look beyond it and enjoy the crap out of the immersion... but many others can't enjoy anything less than 4K, and will immediately toss their headset back in its box and put it up on eBay.

I have to say that my first experience was very good. Yes, the gauges are a bit blurry and hard to read, but the important bits are easy enough to see. Immersion is amazing! Actually almost fell out of my chair when I got the ultralight into a rather tight spiral by accident, the feeling of movement was almost overwhelming. I can see where people get motion sickness from these things. It's a lot easier to handle with a full cabin.

I do wish the graphics were crisper, but hey, you can't have everything. Was just playing around in No Man's Sky VR and, TBH, the graphics don't really look any better and it was glitching non-stop. XP was running smooth as silk for me.

I haven't been able to get my Q2 and xplane 11 to work. Can you help. I can see it on my screen but not through my headset.
