LittleNavMap and Xplane while in sim
I followed the instructions on how to connect LittleNavMap to XPlane [ TOOLS--->FLIGHT SIMULATOR CONNECTION ] and via it's plugin Little Xpconnect . I can see my plane move on LittleNavMap with all the nice features of that utility map has. So my XPLANE is connected to LittleNavMap.

NOW the question I have is the only way I can see this is by ALT-TAB to LittleNavMap to see this?

Is this the only way? Great Utility for flight planning and maps have a lot of data-but ALT-TAB is kind of clumsy.

get a second monitor
i cant speak for that particular app but AVITAB is a great free plugin with a moving map integrated into xplane.

some aircrafy can be modded to add it to the aircraft 3d model itself.

well worth a look.

1. Don’t want more hardware.

2. Yes I have Avitab plugin which is nice. But their map section isn’t close to what is on LittleNavMap and can’t integrate that map in to Avitab.

Thanks all for feedback.

I mean, this is the best solution lol.

You don't need a fancy monitor and there's other advantages to having dual monitors. If you want better maps on the avitab then you'll need to get a navigraph chart subscription (8.30 EUR/month, 74.90 EUR/year). In the long run the monitor is the cheaper solution.

I really don't get how do you expect to see both without seeing both.

There is FltPlan Go that you can use with a tablet, think it only works in the US though.

Yeah, FltPlan Go is really only good for the US and Canada. I used to use it, it's good, but I swapped to littlenavnap.

I undocked the map window in LNM. Still have to AltTab to see it..but less clutter all info there. So it is useable now. Don’t need a subscription (fly offline) or having another monitor on. LNM doesn’t talk to iPad or Android yet. FltPlan Go looks nice but LNM has what I need.

There may be a way to use the MoveVR plug-in (by the same author as AviTab), to display the LNM application in game. Haven't tried it myself; I just alt-Tab as you have been doing.

I had an exchange with the developer in X-Plane Org Forum and it comes down to ALT-TAB is the only way OR you had another computer with screen to network it OR just make a pdf copy of map to put in AviTab.

Yeah..it's ALT-TAB for now.

Still a GREAT utility and FREE!
