Pilot2Atc Help

10 Day Evaluation Version installed today 10/10/19

Got it all installed and working with X-plane 11 however since I do not plan on using a Headset/Microphone I cannot seem to get the Speech Assistant to drop down anything so I can use the Say It button

You would not use the speech assistant unless you use a microphone. You respond to the ATC by using the SayIt button in the lower right menu. Reference the user manual page 76.

There's also a video on You-Tube by Captain K-Man that shows some very detailed set-up/operating instructions, it's long but well worth a watch 2 or 3 times. The xplane.org site has an Pilot2ATC thread too and that can be a good one to browse

If you go to Pilot2ATC.com there are video tutorials that show how the various features work. I use a gaming headset when I fly with Pilot2ATC. I tried using a regular microphone but the sound from my speakers made it difficult to be understood with a microphone. Using a gaming headset fixed that issue. Using the Sayit feature takes a little getting used to. You have to select the request type and then the request you want it to say from the pull downs. Once you have the phrase selected then click on the Sayit button and it will say the phrase.
