CRJ-200 FMS

I bought the Steam version of the CRJ-200 and I can't figure out how load a preconfigured flight plan into the FMS that is in the FMS folder. Any help would be much appriciated.

The CRJ-200 uses a different flight plan format and location than the default aircraft. Flight plans are located here: X-Plane 11\Aircraft\...\Aerosoft\Digital Aviation CRJ\FlightPlans, or wherever its located. That might be a P3D/FSX path, and since I don't own the aircraft, I can't check, sorry.

The file format should be .flp, and can be generated using the excellent flight planning tool Simbrief. Here's my flight plan from my last generated flight[www.simbrief.com]. It's in .flp format. Note that I flew the 738, but Simbrief can make flight plan files for any aircraft.

Also note that you will have to manually enter SIDs and STARs, but this is useful as you don't want to be landing on the wrong runway.
