Flight statistics in external view

I'm not sure if this is already in the simulator and I can't find it but is there a feature that will allow numeric statistics while in external view? It would be really helpful to know your airspeed, VSI, altitude, etc. while in external view. I see that there's a HUD view and even if that was overlaid in external views that would be helpful. If not, then maybe just a few numbers off in the corner of the screen would be enough.

You could try going to Settings -> Data Output and checking the left-most check box for the data you want to see.

Draco...great idea. That worked. In settings\Data Output I checked lines 3 and 20 in the 'Data Graph Window' and 'Show in Cockpit' columns. In external view, I can now see speed and altitude from internal and external views.
