Can you make a video of this showing the trim wheel?
The sim just crashed on me so am putting it away for the evening. I'll see if I can upload something tomorrow. Thanks for the assistance :-)
Flying the 172 right? What I mean by what portion is what is it you're doing, are you climbing? If so trim to maintain climb speed, if done right the plane shouldn't be all over the place. It might dip up and down a bit depending on what happens with airspeed because it will be trimmed to try and maintain that speed.

Have you tried just doing a normal flight in the Cessna 172? Can you take-off, climb, and establish level flight? If you can do that, but can't do it in the tutorial, then I'd say it is a glitch.
