Stupid SSG 747-8

Does anyone own this stupid airplane that can tell me why the f**k it will not desend?!? Why the f**k I can not turn VNAV and LNAV off! IT'S STUPID!

Might want to try looking at some you tube vids. I heard they were revamping that plane. I want it, but I will wait for the update. I agree with WackJesus; it does look good from the outside.

Yeah and after 1 leg u cant fly it again, cause the whole autopilot and autobrake is bugged. In current state this Plane is CRAP!

Read some reviews of the product first or ask the community before you buy, happened to me before too, I learned from that.

Yes... I am at a loss because the aircraft completely locks the yolk so you have no control over the plane even when you turn off the autopilot. I confirmed my joystick was still working by opening the calibration for it and say that I had control over it and the throttles in the aircraft were still able to move. It's just heart wrenching when you're decending after a long haul flight then all of a sudden your yolk locks up and it sends you into a death dive with very little you can do but watch your plane dive into the ground and burst into flames. I messaged one of the developers who created this aircraft but they insist that there is nothing wrong with it even with screenshots of it. $55 For the aircraft I would expect near PMDG quality, I don't expect it to be PMDG but I would expect it to work correctly.... Even Zibo works better than this junk pile and that's FREE!

Stupid idea, but maybe you can try hiding yokes and then re anable them. Maybe that would unlock them?
I can understand your frustration. I have Jar Design A320 that has alot of bugs and no update on aircraft for over a year.
I guess Zibo Mod is everyone's friend.

you need to dial in your new altitude before TD (Top of decent) VNav will then decend at the correct place. that said. After I have decended my approach only locks on 50% of the time.
Or you can dial in new altitude and press FLch (Flight level change) just below VNav
