Better pushback not working.
Hey guys.

Just picked up xplane a few days ago. Installed the Zibo mod 737 and was trying that out. The problem I am having is better pushback isn't working. It's showing in the plugin manager but I can't tick it to be enabled. I tried other aircraft too and it isn't working. I also tried teh stable steam build and the beta and no joy.

any ideas how to get it to work?

Which version are you using? I just tried better pushback and mine is working OK. I can't find a version number but I have the one that was released on 12 March 2018. Here is a download link:
https://github.com/skiselkov/BetterPushbackC/releases
You may need to reinstall it into your plugins folder.

pushback does not move but the tow just sits conected

I just tried better pushback (v0.47) with the Zibo v3.30 and v3.31 and everything worked. Also tried it with my FJS 732 and it worked. Don't know what to say. I did it through the plugin pull down menu and the ground services option on the pilot side tablet. Both worked.

Same here. Better Pushback works fine. Via top Menu and Tablet in cockpit.

Tried the latest version and tried removing it and installing again and no luck

Remove the brakes, not parking brakes, regular brakes. Same happened to me.

He means that you have to release the brakes.

but how do you release the brakes ,(is it the parking brake, or nomal brake?)

Both must be released.

If your controller does not have brakes assigned and/or if there are no brakes assigned and windows sees the controls as "mid way", then Better Pushback assumes you are partially asserting the brakes and will not push back.

If you see the Better Pushback dialogs and overhead view asking how you want to position the plane on pushback, then it -IS- working properly and the issue is with your control inputs.
