The FMS in SSG is not compatible with Simbrief's output. Actually I find that few second party FMS systems are.

Even if you can read it in, the plan will be incomplete and lacking SID/STAR and runway data.

You must input that manually.

Your best bet is to print out the Simbrief plan and enter that into the plane's FMS manually, then input the SID/STAR, Runway and gate data to make a complete plan.

I am now able to import my plans, just had to save my Simbrief file in another folder in my directory, although it still did not enter the SID/STAR and runway data. This wasnt a problem for me as I have always been entering that data manually anyways. Thanks!

try the ufmc format (Universal) in sim brief. Works for me
save them to steam library/steamapps/common/x-planes/customdata/ufmc/flightplans.
Thats in windows 10

Download and save as X-Plane 9/10 from SimBrief, or paste in Simple-FMC

a lot of us dont like to use simbrief. thanks Rupegodwin for showing how to input it differently.
i use little navmap. i export it to ufmc, save the file in x-plane 11/Custom Data/UFMC/Flightplans folder. i load it by first entering origin and dest on the computer under the RTE menu, then typing the filename and pushing co route, then execute.
