also, this is from X-Aviation 737-300 store page:
"The IXEG 737 Classic ships with a dataset from Aerosoft's NavDataPro service free of charge."
i paid for this aircraft, i cant pay again for FMC data.
like getting older version of the AIRAC
is that even possible?
thanks for replying btw
Simbrief only supply the current AIRAC courtesy of Navigraph. It cannot be changed to a lower Cycle as you have already discovered.
...and they have kept their promise to you. The IXEG have indeed provided you with a dataset, they didn't say it's the latest.
What you could do is purchase the latest AIRAC Cycle from Navigrah, you'll have to take out a monthly subscription but at least you will be sycned with Simbrief and your FMC in Xplane will be updated too. Then go back to Navigraph and simply cancell your monthy subscription. This means you will no longer recieve the latest AIRAC updates from Navigraph in future but you will at least forever have the latest AIRAC synced with Simbrief.
thanks
Once a new AIRAC is available, the old one is no longer available, so you'll only have access to the latest cycle to download. That's why if I were to purchase a subscription, I'd only pay for a month, download all the data I can (even if I might not use it) and use that for all my aircraft.
for example, if i purchase 1810 i will be able to use it on simbrief to plan and on the FMC of IXEG 737
is that correct?
Yes,.Purchase the latest AIRAC from say Navigraph which is currently Cycle 1810. Then you would go to Simbrief and update the Cycle there. You have to link your Navigraph account subscription to Simbrief first though. Then you can make your flight plans in SImbrief and use them on your IXEG. The FMC in your IXEG should display that you are on Cycle 1810.
and what is the cheapest way to do that
Because you need to download the Navigraph FMS Data Manager which automatically installs the AIRAC Cycles into Xplane.
Go Here and read all about what you do and how much it costs. Aerosoft may have a different approach to installing AIRAC Cycles but I don't use them so take a look at them too.
