simbrief import to xp 11.10

i used a previouly flight plan from simbrief and exported to x plane 11.10. no way points in xp but in simbrief there were 6! how many flight plans can i have in xp? i have 2 previous ones and this would be my third. could that be the issue? any help would be appreciated thanks to all who answer with advice. should i uninstall and reinstall?

No, re-installing will not do anything useful. Only waste your time. You can have as many flight plans as you want, AFAIK.

First of all, is the flight plan in .fms format? Are you using a default or addon aircraft with the flight plan? Which aircraft are you using? Open the flight plan with a text editor, then copy and paste its contents here.

Maybe a bit of topic here but is there anyway to import flightplans made in the FMC to the 124ATC instead of typing it in manually?

also i should mention i have Two Output folders and 2 fms plans folders. one set in C X Plane11: another in Program Files(86)>Steam>Steam has that messed up things. i thought the one in C drive was for the demo which i had down loaded and the latter one from Steam purchase. if i should delete one then which one? thanks.

X-Plane 11 will only run off the Steam version, so the plans need to go in the Steam version. I'll have a look at that plan later.

should i uninstall the demo version? also no plan for the saved flight plan in xp. my flight is kbtv-kalb and it doesn't show up as one of the plans .

I have mine installed to diagnose bugs with X-Plane 11. Other than that, I really don't see the point in keeping it.

hi again. i uninstalled xp11 from c: drive.
i've really messed the flight plan configed .fms files. my KBTV file doesn't show up there and the two others i have i can't delete or load. i guess 'cause i deleted them from output folder? what should i do? thank you for your help up to date i hope that you won't quit on me.

From what I can see, everything seems to be correct.

I created a new .fms file, named it TEST, and entered your flight plan. I then loaded it into the C172, and the waypoints were plotted successfully on the G530. Waypoints were also shown on the FPL part of the G530, which are exactly the same as what is in the .fms file.

is there a way to just update airplane folder. the main problem is that i deleted the . fms files for 2 flights i had in the flight plan configured window and can't uninstall them nor load. the KBTV flight plan doesn't apprear in that folder so that;s why i can't get any waypoints. any ideas

Ah can you not modify the Flight plans folder, nor any of the files in it?

Hi did the flight plan abocve load into flight plan configure window of nav (fpl) window? can't get it to work. is there any way to use development tools that you know of? thank you.

Can you rename the FMS plans folder to something else?
