And seriously, if you are going to call someone a thief have some proof.
The PC12 in the newest version is a complete update and noe XP11 only.
By the way, no probs with PC12 aslong you use the correct procedures to start the engine.
You can also very fast fire up the BAe 32 when doing wrong, it´s not a bug.
That being said it appears there are still issues with the fms with the XP11 edition and I’ve been burned to many times by carenado to shell out another 30$
"I'm miffed that I purchased the PC-12 for XP-11 many months ago. It was labeled as being specifically for XP-11 and there was a separate XP-10 version too. This "XP-11" version had issues working on XP11 too.
Then a few weeks ago, out comes the REAL XP-11 version, and the store page for the version I purchased was changed to read XP-10.
Ok, no problem... I asked about getting a discount on the new XP-11 since I already purchased it as such on their forum... and the DEVs became very agitated about it, even tried to ban any mention of this.
Meanwhile almost every other developer issues discounts for their updates. I jump on those without thinking.
Caveat Emptor with Carenado."
The fix is easy, but I do recommend that you make a backup of the aircraft's folder before doing this, just in case.
- First, go into the aircraft's folder and open its .acf file with Windows notepad (or Notepad++ if you have it).
- Next, search for "max_ITT". Windows notepad makes the data look like a mess, but don't worry.
- Just to the right of the max_ITT is a number. Change this value to a lower number. For the TBM, you want to change it from 840 to 500. I don't have the X-plane 10 version of the PC12, so I'm not sure what the best value is for that, but I imagine it's probably close to the same ratio.
- Save the file and you're done!
Note- You DO NOT want to try to edit the aircraft in X-plane 11's planemaker. I think Carenado has some sort of custom script that can cause X-Plane to crash if a plane was edited with a different version of planemaker than it was created in. You might be able to edit it in X-plane 10's planemaker though.
Even after editing the plane, you still have to be gentle with the fuel mixture on startup though. Just gently feed it until you're above 50% NG.
