Everything but pedals. The only issue I have with the HOTAS is that the throttle has become a bit sticky; otherwise a fantastic bit of kit that works wonders with X-Plane 11.

As for the pedals, I'm really not sure what else you'd get for their price of £100. 4.4/5 on Amazon based on 1,472 reviews. I'd say go for it.

i mean, is it better then what i have now? is it worth spending 150$ on it?

I use this stick and throttle combo, and it works wonderfully, especially considering the price you pay for it (picked it up for $99.99 on sale). I wouldn't splurge for the pedals though, you can easily assign your rudder to the paddle on the throttle and set a button to toggle your brakes.

The only 'issue' I noticed was the one that Draco mentioned:

You can lessen the force required to slide the throttle back and forth by way of an adjustment screw on the underside of the throttle body (slide the throttle all the way forward, flip the unit over, and there's a screw head in a hole underneath the forward screw that holds the body together); you can loosen that up if it's too tight.

If it's still sticky, you can actually carefully remove the bottom plate off the throttle and lubricate the slide with silicone or white lithium grease; a little goes a long way. Also lube the pivot points, again using a small amount of lubrication, put it all together, slide the throttle back and forth a few times, and you're good to go.

The lube they use in assembly isn't very good, and the silicone or white lithium grease works much better.

I just bought this flight package last week.
I used an older version of the thrustmaster joystick but wanted a independent throttle.
The throttle and joystick was 129.00 so for just another 60.00 I was able to get the package with the rudder pedals.
I must say right now I am having a lot of trouble with the pedals, trying to control the aircraft on takeoff.
The plane almost wants to spin circles as I forget what direction to push the pedals and it is hard to keep it striaght.
But this is an all new experience for me so it will probably take some time to get used to.
I'm so far happy with my purchase.

I also have the full set and agree as far as the controller and throttle options go. With respect to the pedals, I think they are too close together and a little light weight. The comment about rudder control is more of an XP issue. No matter what rudder control you use, including the paddle all all very "twitchy". I consider just getting a single engine off the ground as a major accomplishment!

Stick and throttle combo has been great for me, especially for the price.
Haven't bought the pedals. Don't feel like I need them.

Thanks for that! Still slightly sticky, but loosening that screw has certainly made a substantial difference.

The t.16000m is defenetly better than the extreme 3D pro.
The Logitech feels better in hand but has a dead zone that makes it not very precise. The Thrustmaster has no dead zone.

As long as you're playing something that accepts multiple USB input devices (Like XP11) it's generally the best setup you can get these days, without extremely expensive specialist hardware.

If it feels like you have to 'break' it from where it came to rest the last time you move it, but it's smoother after that, then it needs to be lubricated. If it's stiff to move all the time, then it's the tension screw.

well thanks for those answers
im still not sure of what to buy though
i hesitate between new Logitech extreme 3d pro to T.16000m joystick and throttle (without rudder pedals)
i mean, its pretty expensive as well so im not sure
will it improve my realism level of flying in boeing 737?
and also can i place the throttle to my right and not to the left (set it up like boeing and not f16) and it will be comftable?
sorry for that much questions, just wanna be sure
thank you all!

Throttle placement should not matter, but the throttle was designed for left hand use as it fits your hand and the hat switches are easier to use with your left thumb vs. Your right thumb.....it would be awkward.

okay, thanks
for your opinion is it worth paying 150$ on this set (stick+thro+pedals)?
and how long will it be good till the centering of the joystick will start to be unaccurate? my logitech extreme 3d pro took 2 years to get that, do you think this set will be better?
jerdawg 2018 年 6 月 6 日 上午 10:56
My old thrustmaster joystick still works perfectly fine and although I haven't used it regularly it is about 4 or 5 years old. I just wanted the independent throttle which I really like alot.
I also bought it for the rudder pedals because I really wanted that immersion feel of flying an airplane.
I'm not sure how long they will hold up ( I only wear socks and no shoes when using)
But for the package price I think it's worth it.
I would go buy the set if your going to do joystick+throttle + pedals as it will save you enough cash for a payware airport......and that's cool right?
