Can't file flight plan
For some reason it won't let me file flight plans anymore from the ATC window. Everyting works great, except the flight plan.

I can either have it on auto tune or manually enter the frequency, nothing works. I'll press the "file flight plan" button, enter destination & altitude, hit file and it'll bring me back to the original menu.

This happen to anyone else?

Can you not request clearance thereafter?

Nope, just goes right back to the original ATC window like I didn't file it. I can request altimiter just like normal.

Already verified game files, all good. I'd like to avoid uninstalling and redownloading because my internet is over my phone and service is slow. Takes almost an entire day to download.

Yeah uninstalling ain't gonna help. Just try some other frequencies. There's bound to be one that should let you request clearance.

Could you give us an example of the flight plan you are trying to file so we can try it?

I've tried several different destinations, different starting locations, elevations, etc.

Basically this is what's happening:
-Pull up ATC window
-Click File Flight Plan
-Enter destination & altitude
-Click File Plan
Then is goes back to the original ATC options of Check Altimiter & File Flight Plan, like I didn't enter anything. Taking off from Houston, tuned to Houston 126.95, destination San Antonio. Auto Frequency is selected.

I tried to just go to an airport and enter in a destination and then press enter, but it works for me. what happens if you put in an altitude?

Having the same issue. Strange thing is I can file flight plan fine on one Win10/XP11 computer but not on the other, using the same aircraft (Epic 1000) and same version of XP11. After submitting the plan, I'm taken back to the initial menu. Auto-tune box is checked. This issue started two weeks ago.

I never recall entering altitude, I think you don't need that.

It is a problem of being on the ground at a non towered airport, You can file it but can not request a clearance until you are in the air. I cant be sure but this was my issue
