OK stupid question, do you have fuel turned on for the APU? I had a similar issue with starting the APU on the FJS 732. Then I discovered I hadn't turned on the fuel switch.

The only reason an APU won't start for me is because I forget to switch it on.

This is a real APU being started[drive.google.com]. (Credit: Zibo's development videos) Left AFT fuel pump should be on too.

this light above the switch just dont lights up.. is it critical that it on and then start or i can put it immidiatly on start and hold it (not waiting on "On" before)

For a Boeing APU it doesn't matter too much. 3 seconds of START should be sufficient to boot it up.

I can only think failures or bad installation are causing this. Also, is the battery and standby power on?

For a new installation, just right-click the B737-800X folder in Zibo's Google drive, click download, extract the folder, install fmod and it should work fine.

Don't install into Laminar Research. Create new folders where necessary.
