X-plane has "World Traffic" available but it is not a free add-on.
But there is a different issue. Here I have to manually add AI and I can only add a dozen or so. In FSX I have hundreds of airlines. Can that payware do that?

That way you can get the correct liveries for the respective airports.
How accurate you want timetables, etc. is up to you.
You can generate routes using the provided tools, you can download pre-defined routes from X-Plane.org and you can edit the route tables to your liking.
I find that you don't have to add a lot of routes for things to seem realistic.
