Nice to hear. I just checked it out on Just Flight but the price isn't what I was expecting. Will hold off for now.

I'm currently using World Traffic 3 so I'm interested in how it compares. And regarding the price, well I did pay $70 for xEnviro, so if Traffic Global reviews are favorable I may look into purchasing it instead of having to download so much from different links for World Traffic 3.

The Just Flight website wants $53 US for it. $45 wouldn't be bad.

$45 US, is what just flight are selling it at on their website. Currency converter shows $45 = £34.83 so for me here in the UK that's not a bad price. Actually, to be exact, it's £34.99.

What web site are you looking at? https://www.justflight.com/product/traffic-global-xplane-windows. I just went to justflight.com and it shows it selling for $52.99.
hows the fps hit?

It looks like John that both our links point to the same page but because you're in the US it's showing as $53 whereas for me, here in the UK, it's showing as £34.99 which currency converter shows as approx $45 US.
John W Oct 23, 2019 @ 1:40pm
Well looks like I'll have to wait for it to be fixed so it shows the $45.
John W Oct 23, 2019 @ 3:44pm
So I did some checking and it seems that the pricing is not related to exchange rates. I'm surmising that VAT taxes are involved. The advertised price for Traffic Global in the email I received is £34.99 / €43.95 / $52.99. There are no taxes added if I attempt to purchase Traffic Global for $52.99. So I'm wondering if there are taxes added if purchased in Great Britain or in Europe or if the US market is being target to pay more. Either way I think I'm going to hold off on purchasing and just keep using World Traffic 3.

The price advertised on the UK website of £34.99 ($45.18 US), is the price we pay. In other words, inclusive of tax. Seems like you're being stung for a few more dollars if you're in the US.

Actually, no. Just flight charge everyone the US dollar amount and then your bank / Paypal / Credit Card company does the conversion. I think the GBP 34.99 on the website is misleading since, at current exchange rates, GBP 45 would be nearer the mark.

How is that misleading? The price for the product here in the UK on JF website is £34.99, end of. I see nothing misleading about that at all. Converting that £34.99 is approx $45.00. However, John is saying that it's showing as $53.00 if you're in the US. Maybe it's a tax thing.

The only way to really find out is for those in the US to email Just Flight and ask why US customers are being charged $53 instead of $45.00.

I think you are misunderstanding me. Just Flight charges one price - US $53. This indeed is the only figure you see on the actual JF website. The GBP 34.99 appeared on the JF Global Traffic email which must have been prepared on the basis of a much more favourable exchange rate. In my earlier post, I should have said the email (rather than the website) was misleading.

If you go to purchase it from the UK using, say, you credit card, you will be billed $53 which your CC will then convert to pounds at their prevailing exchange rate, and will add a foreign currency handling fee. Hence my estimate of close to GBP 45.

But hey, don't take my word for it. Go purchase GT and let us know how you get on. I would love to be proved wrong.

The other question is, how come P3D v4 users still get it at around a $11 discount, it being deemed early access? Is the XP version more advanced?
