X-plane 11 folder.

Could someone tell me which folder I need to install free aircraft etc. I have been through my steam folders but cannot find the one I need. Thanks.

if you have windows:

1. C:
2. Program files (x86)
3. Steam
4. Steamapps
5. common
6. XPlane-11
7. aircraft
8. laminar research

Then paste the files as 1 folder (cant be ZIPPED)

I tend to put mine in a seperate folder. This is where I have all additional flyable aircraft (I've used the B753 as an example):

X:\Steam\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11\Aircraft\Additional Aircraft\Boeing 757-200\757-300_xp11.acf

It's the root folder where you installed X-Plane. For example this is the path to mine...

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11

Open Steam and do a right mouse click on game name (left list) and choose "Browse Local Files". That opens X-Plane 11 folder, then go to Aircraft folder. You can add new aircraft folder to root of Aricraft folder or the subfolder like "GA Planes".
