VR: FPS drops in the Zibo 737 Cockpit
Hi there,

I get framdrops in VR when I'm looking at the overhead-panel of the Zibo 737 or if my FOV is anywhere near the overhead-panel, which ends up in that annoying VR stutter.

I don't have any major problems with XP11 in VR except for the Zibo 737.
For some reason I don't get any fps drops when using that plane on my 2D monitor.

i7 7700k @ 4.5
16GB
GTX 1070
XP11 on SSD

You may want to use one of the modified cockpits for ZiBo's mod.

There are a few that reduce the size of the cockpit textures, which is required to maintain VR FPS rates.

Opjose: Any of them you recomend? (link please).

That's the same I tried, it did _not_ help with FPS. At all.
It only changes 19 files out of 128.
No difference in FPS.

I suggest that you try completely re-installing the ZiBo mod again from scratch.

FIrst save all of your liveries, then delete the Zibo mod folder.

Recreate it and apply the above texture patch, then restore just your liveries folder.

The texture patch should make a big difference.

Tried. No difference. But I think that's Xplane's engines fault, and not Zibo plane. I just have stuttering now and then like everybody else in VR (?). Unless I ofcoz turn down most of the graphics.
See what 3.24b can do. Further fps improvements on the flight deck.

And where can that be found? I'm in the only beta there is possible to choose.
And that's xplane 11.20vr1 (Build 112004 64 bits).

First quick test of 3.24b of Zibo - Seems _way_ better, but need to test more :)

One person in those forums suggested that it's time to optimise. Zibo agreed, and the result is a series of updates dedicated to re-writing code and improving fps. There's definitely more to come.

Amazing. So, what's a fair amount of money to donate to Zibo?
Anyone here donated to him?(or them? or her - not sure what Zibo is) :)
