I'm not sure if you ever found a solution to this, but I recently encountered this problem and was able to find a work-around. You need to have the APU switch in the off position, then completely power down the plane: Ground power, standby power, and battery all to off. Go to the failures menu and click the "fix all problems" button, and then power the plane back up and the APU should start. For some reason if you use "fix all problems" while the plane is powered up it will clear the fault, but it returns as soon as you try and start the APU, so do the power down first.

@xenother , i know "fix all all problems" will fix it , but i want to do it at my own not the menu or autopilot fixing it .. xp

If it's the default aircraft this seems to be an issue a few others are experiencing. Best way to fix it IMO is to get the Zibo, the APU works fine on that.

Also a fuel pump needs to be on, seems a few posts where people have shut off all the pumps.
